I had an out-of-town family photo session for G, a previous client. I did some family photos of her and her daughters last summer and newborn photos when her third daughter was born in the fall. I was excited to see them again and also to meet G’s grandmother, who is an identical twin! I always see twin photos of babies and young children, but rarely of older adults. What a great opportunity!
The other thing I was looking forward to was the drive. One could consider long drives to be tedious, but not me! I welcome the chance to listen to music and enjoy the time to think. I had been looking forward to testing out the different ways to enjoy music. So I loaded up a USB flash drive with a ton of MP3s from my hard drive and then off I went. All I needed to do was plug it in the USB port and it started playing. You can set it to play in order or to randomize and the tracks are searchable by artist, album, or song. So if you want to hear a particular song or you just want a mix, you’re set. I love it!
With my music going, the drive didn’t feel like it took long at all. Before I knew it, I was there and it was time to get to photographing! I loved seeing how big the baby has gotten. She’s adorable and plump, with dimpled hands and fat little feet! Awwww! And meeting/photographing 88-year-old identical twins was as awesome as I expected. All in all, a really great afternoon! And the cherry on top was realizing that the gas mileage was better than I’m used to! Bonus!

88 year old identical twins? That sounds interesting! Will you be posting these on your site?
I will be! It was great to be able to work with them!
